Inserting, Editing, and Linking Frames

A frame is a container for text and graphics that you can place anywhere on a page. You can also use a frame to apply a column layout to text.

To Insert a Frame

1. Tô sáng văn bản bạn muốn bao gồm trong khung.

2. Choose Insert - Frame - Frame.

To Edit a Frame

• To edit the contents of a frame, click in the frame, and make the changes that you want.

• To edit a frame, select the frame, right-click, and then choose a formatting option. You can also right-click the selected frame, and choose Frame.

• To resize a frame, click an edge of the frame, and drag one of the edges or corners of the frame. Hold down Shift while you drag to maintain the proportion of the frame.

Any Writer frame can be set to a mode which allows viewing the text on screen, but hides the text from printing.

1. Select the frame (you see the eight handles).

2. Choose Format - Frame and Object - Properties - Options.

3. In the Properties area, uncheck the Print check box and click OK.

To Link Frames

You can link Writer frames so that their contents automatically flow from one frame to another.

1. Nhấn vào cạnh của một khung cần liên kết. (Các móc lựa chọn sẽ xuất hiện trên các cạnh của khung.)

2. On the Frame bar, click the Link Frames icon.

3. Nhấn vào khung đến đó bạn muốn liên kết.

Chỉ có thể liên kết các khung nếu :

• Khung đích còn rỗng.

• Khung đích không hiện thời được liên kết đến khung khác.

• Hai khung nguồn và đích đều nằm trong cùng phần. Chẳng hạn, bạn không thể liên kết khung đầu trang đến khung chân trang.

• Khung nguồn không có liên kết kế tiếp.

• Khung nguồn không chứa khung đích, hay ngược lại.

Bạn chọn một khung đã liên kết thì hiển thị một đường kết nối hai khung đã liên kết.
