Character styles provide a way to customize the formatting for individual characters. Use character styles to change the properties of a character, word or selected part of a paragraph. When you apply a character style to a text selection, the character style properties override the corresponding paragraph character properties.

For example, if you apply a character style with 15pt font size to a selection in a paragraph with character property of 12pt font size, the selection is set to 15pt, while the rest of the paragraph remains with 12pt font size.

No Character Style is actually the set of character properties of the current paragraph style. Choose No Character Style to reset the character properties of the selection to those of the paragraph style. You cannot customize No Character Style.

Så här använder du det här kommandot...

Choose View - Styles or Styles - Manage Styles () to open Styles deck.
Click on the Character Style icon at top of the deck, then select a character style.
Right-click to open context menu and choose New/Edit Style.

Direct formatting overrides any formatting provided by a character style. To remove direct formatting from a selection, use Format - Clear Direct Formatting (+M).

Ange alternativ för den markerade formatmallen.

Use the Contains section in the Organizer to see the properties of the character style.

Ange den formatering och det teckensnitt du vill använda.

Teckeneffekt

Ange vilka teckeneffekter du vill använda.

Anger tecknens placering, skalning, rotation och teckenmellanrum.

Asiatisk layout

Anger alternativ för dubbelrader i asiatiska språk. Markera tecknen i texten och välj detta kommando.

These commands can only be accessed after you enable support for Asian languages in - Languages and Locales - General.

Highlighting

Applies current highlighting color to the text selection.

Inramning

Anger ramalternativ för valda objekt i Writer eller Calc.

Återställ

Återställer värdena i aktuell flik till hur de var när dialogrutan öppnades. Om Tillämpa använts innan dialogrutan stängs återställs värdena till hur de var när det senast gjordes.

Tillämpa

Tillämpar alla ändringar utan att dialogrutan stängs. Kan därefter inte återställas med Återställ utan det gäller endast ej tillämpade/osparade ändringar.

Återställ till överordnad

Värden från aktuell flik sätts till de som finns i motsvarande flik angiven under "Basera på". Alltid, även när "Basera på" är satt till "- Ingen -", gäller för värden i "Innehåller" att de tas bort.

OK

Sparar alla ändringar och stänger dialogrutan.

Avbryt

Stänger dialogrutan och förkastar alla ändringar i alla flikar. Om Tillämpa använts gäller det endast ändringarna efter att det senast gjordes.
