Inserting, Editing, and Linking Frames

A frame is a container for text and graphics that you can place anywhere on a page. You can also use a frame to apply a column layout to text.

To Insert a Frame

1. Выделите текст, который требуется поместить во врезку.

2. Choose Insert - Frame - Frame.

To Edit a Frame

• To edit the contents of a frame, click in the frame, and make the changes that you want.

• To edit a frame, select the frame, right-click, and then choose a formatting option. You can also right-click the selected frame, and choose Frame.

• To resize a frame, click an edge of the frame, and drag one of the edges or corners of the frame. Hold down Shift while you drag to maintain the proportion of the frame.

Скрытие текста при печати

Any Writer frame can be set to a mode which allows viewing the text on screen, but hides the text from printing.

1. Select the frame (you see the eight handles).

2. Choose Format - Frame and Object - Properties - Options.

3. In the Properties area, uncheck the Print check box and click OK.

To Link Frames

You can link Writer frames so that their contents automatically flow from one frame to another.

1. Щёлкните край врезки, которую требуется связать. По краям врезки появятся маркеры выделения.

2. On the Frame bar, click the Link Frames icon.

3. Щёлкните врезку, с которой требуется связать первую.

Чтобы врезки можно было связать, должны выполняться некоторые условия.

• Конечная врезка должна быть пуста.

• Конечная врезка не должна быть связана с другой врезкой.

• Исходная и конечная врезки должны находиться в одном разделе. Например, нельзя связать врезку верхнего колонтитула с врезкой нижнего колонтитула.

• У исходной врезки не должно быть другой исходящей связи.

• Исходная и конечная врезки не должны содержать в себе одна другую.

При выделении связанной врезки отображается линия, соединяющая врезки.
