The Properties sidebar provides quick access to options for formatting the layout and the contents of a document.

Use Styles to apply frequently used formatting options, such as headings, object styles, or page styles.
Choose a formatting style to apply to the selection. More style options are available in the Styles deck.
Assigns a style to the current paragraph, selected paragraphs, or to a selected object.
Set Paragraph Style

Clone Formatting
Update the paragraph style with the direct formatting applied to the current paragraph.
Update Selected Style
Adds a paragraph style with the settings of the current selection. You will be prompted to enter the style name.
New Style From Selection
The Character panel provides access to settings that change the format of single characters or entire words and phrases.
Apply and manage table styles.
Select a table to enable the Table Design panel.
The Paragraph panel provides access to settings that change line spacing, indentation, and space between paragraphs in the selected text.
Use the Number Format panel to set the number format for a cell or range.
Use the Alignment panel in the Properties sidebar deck to set alignment options for the contents of the current cell, or the selected cells.
