Attributes

Choose the text attributes that you want to search for. For example, if you select the Outline attribute, then all characters formatted manually with an Outline effect are found. If you also want to find characters with an Outline effect as part of a style, then select Including styles in the Other Options section, before searching.

Options

Select the attributes that you want to search for.

Alignment

Finds the \<emph\>Alignment\</emph\> (left, right, centered, justified) attribute.

Blinking

Finds characters use the \<emph\>Blinking\</emph\> attribute.

Character background

Finds characters that use the \<emph\>Background\</emph\> attribute.

Character scaling

Finds characters formatted with Scale width.

Do not split paragraph

Finds paragraphs with the Do not split paragraph attribute enabled.

Effects

Finds characters that use a Case effect (Uppercase, Lowercase, Capitalize every word, or Small capitals).

Font

Finds any instance where the default font was changed.

Font Color

Finds any instance where the default font color was changed.

Font Posture

Finds the \<emph\>Italic\</emph\> or the \<emph\>Bold and Italic\</emph\> attribute.

Font Size

Finds the \<emph\>Font size/Font height\</emph\> attribute.

Font Weight

Finds the \<emph\>Bold\</emph\> or the \<emph\>Bold and Italic\</emph\> attribute.

Hyphenation

Finds the \<emph\>Hyphenation\</emph\> attribute.

Indent

Finds the \<emph\>Indent\</emph\> (from left, from right, first line) attribute.

Individual Words

Finds characters with the Individual Words attribute, which can be set when using Underlining, Strikethrough and Overlining.

Keep with Next Paragraph

Finds the \<emph\>Keep With Next Paragraph\</emph\> attribute.

Kerning

Finds Spacing (standard, expanded, condensed) attributes and pair kerning.

Language

Finds the \<emph\>Language\</emph\> attribute (for spelling).

Line Spacing

Finds the \<emph\>Line spacing\</emph\> (single line, 1.5 lines, double, proportional, at least, lead) attribute.

Orphans

Finds the Orphan Control attribute.

Outline

Finds characters formatted with the Outline attribute.

Overline

Finds characters formatted with Overlining.

Page Style

Finds the \<emph\>Break With Page Style\</emph\> attribute.

Page line-spacing

Finds paragraphs with the Activate page line-spacing attribute enabled.

Position

Finds characters using the Normal, Superscript or Subscript attributes.

Relief

Finds characters formatted with the Relief attribute.

Rotation

Finds the \<emph\>Rotation\</emph\> attribute.

Shadowed

Finds characters formatted with the Shadowed attribute.

Spacing

Finds the \<emph\>Spacing\</emph\> (top, bottom) attribute.

Strikethrough

Finds characters formatted with the Strikethrough attribute.

Tab Stops

Finds paragraphs that use an additional tab set.

Underline

Finds characters formatted with Underlining.

Vertical text alignment

Finds the Vertical text alignment attribute.

Widows

Finds the \<emph\>Widow Control\</emph\> attribute.
