Estilo de carácter
Character styles provide a way to customize the formatting for individual characters. Use character styles to change the properties of a character, word or selected part of a paragraph. When you apply a character style to a text selection, the character style properties override the corresponding paragraph character properties.
For example, if you apply a character style with 15pt font size to a selection in a paragraph with character property of 12pt font size, the selection is set to 15pt, while the rest of the paragraph remains with 12pt font size.
No Character Style is actually the set of character properties of the current paragraph style. Choose No Character Style to reset the character properties of the selection to those of the paragraph style. You cannot customize No Character Style.

Choose or (Command+TF11) to open Styles deck.

Click on the Character Style icon at top of the deck, then select a character style.

Right-click to open context menu and choose .
Direct formatting overrides any formatting provided by a character style. To remove direct formatting from a selection, use (CommandCtrl+M).

Use the Contains section in the General tab to see the properties of the character style.

Especifique os efectos de fonte que quere usar.
Especifique a posición, escala, rotación e espazamento de caracteres.
Define as opcións para a liña dobre escrita para idiomas asiáticos. Seleccione os caracteres no seu texto, e logo escolla este comando.

Applies current highlighting color to the character style or text selection.
Define as opcións de bordo para os obxectos seleccionados en Writer ou Calc.
Restabelecer
Restabelece os valores modificados na lapela actual aos valores que había ao abrir a caixa de diálogo. Se se empregou Aplicar antes de pechar o diálogo, os valores restáurase aos que había antes do último uso de Aplicar.
Aplicar
Aplica as modificacións a todas as lapelas sen pechar a caixa de diálogo. Non é posíbel desfacelo con Restaurar.
Restaurar ao herdado
Values for the current tab are set to those found in the corresponding tab of the style specified in “Inherit from” in the General tab. In all cases, also when “Inherit from” is “- None -”, current tab values specified in “Contains” are removed.
Aceptar
Garda todos os cambios e pecha o diálogo.
Cancelar
Pecha a caixa de diálogo e descarta os cambios de todas as lapelas. Se se empregou Aplicar, descártanse os cambios após o último uso de Aplicar.
