Styles in Writer

The following information concerns Writer styles that you can apply using the Styles deck of the Sidebar.

If you want, you can edit the styles of the current document, and then save the document as a template. To save the document as template, choose File - Templates - Save as Template.

Categoría de estilo

These are the different categories of formatting styles.

Nome	Descrición
Estilos de carácter	Utilice a opción Estilos de carácter para formatar un único carácter ou palabras e frases enteiras. Se o desexa, pode aniñar os estilos de carácter.
Estilos de parágrafos	Utilice a opción Estilos de parágrafo para formatar parágrafos, inclusive o tamaño e o tipo da letra. Tamén pode seleccionar o estilo que desexe aplicar ao seguinte parágrafo.
Estilos de marco	Utilice a opción Estilos de marco para formatar marcos de texto e imaxe.
Estilos de páxina	Utilice a opción Estilos de páxina para organizar a estrutura do documento e engadir números de páxina. Tamén pode especificar o estilo de páxina que desexe aplicar á primeira páxina posterior á quebra.
Estilos de lista	Use List Styles to format ordered or unordered lists.

Style Groups

These are the style groups that you can display in the Styles window.

Name	Meaning
Automatic	Displays styles appropriate to the current context.
All Styles	Displays all styles of the active style category.
Hidden Styles	Display styles that have been hidden in the Styles window.
Applied Styles	Displays the styles (of selected category) applied in the current document.
Custom Styles	Displays all user-defined styles in the selected style category.
Text Styles	Displays formatting styles for text.
Document Structure	Displays formatting styles for structuring documents.
List Styles	Displays formatting styles for ordered or unordered lists.
Index Styles	Displays formatting styles for indexes.
Special Styles	Displays formatting styles for headers, footers, footnotes, endnotes, tables, and captions.
HTML Styles	Displays a list of styles for HTML documents.
Conditional Styles	Displays the user-defined conditional styles.
Hierarchical	Displays the styles in the selected category in a hierarchical list. To view the styles in a sublevel, click on the plus sign (+) next to the sublevel name.
