Enter the message that you want to display when the cell or cell range is selected in the sheet.

Show input help when cell is selected

Displays the message that you enter in the Contents box when the cell or cell range is selected in the sheet.

If you enter text in the Contents box of this dialog, and then select and clear this check box, the text will be lost.
