The Paragraph sidebar panel only sets hyphenation for individual paragraphs. Use the Text Flow dialog to access hyphenation settings for a document or style or the Hyphenation dialog to hyphenate words individually.

Click the Hyphenation icon to toggle automatic hyphenation. When this setting is enabled, LibreOffice Writer automatically inserts hyphens in the paragraph as needed.

Word length
Introduzca la longitud mínima en caracteres que deberá tener una palabra para que se pueda silabear.
Hyphenation zone
Para reducir la partición de palabras, introduzca el tamaño de la zona de silabación. En lugar de aplicar el silabeo posible, el renglón se quebrará entre las palabras, si el espacio horizontal restante no sobrepasa la zona de silabación.
