Utilizar la herramienta de subtotales

Calc offers the Subtotals tool as a more comprehensive alternative to the SUBTOTAL function. In contrast to SUBTOTAL, which only works on a single array, the Subtotals tool can create subtotals for up to three arrays arranged in labeled columns. It also groups subtotals by category and sorts them automatically, thereby eliminating the need to apply AutoFilters and filter categories by hand.

Utilizar la herramienta de subtotales

Para insertar valores de subtotales en una hoja:

1. Select the cell range for the subtotals that you want to calculate, and remember to include the column heading labels. Alternatively, click on a single cell within your data to allow Calc to automatically identify the range.

2. Seleccione Datos ▸ Subtotales para abrir el cuadro de diálogo Subtotales.

3. In the Group by drop-down list on the First Group page, select a column by its label. Entries in the cell range from step 1 will be grouped and sorted by matching values in this column.

4. In the Calculate subtotals for box on the First Group page, select a column containing values to be subtotaled. If you later change values in this column, Calc will automatically recalculate the subtotals.

5. In the Use function box on the First Group page, select a function to calculate the subtotals for the column selected in step 4.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to create subtotals for other columns on the First Group page.

7. Puede crear dos categorías de subtotal adicionales utilizando las páginas Segundo grupo y Tercer grupo y repitiendo los pasos 3 a 6. Si no desea añadir más grupos, deje el valor «- ninguno -» en la lista Agrupar por de cada página.

8. Pulse en Aceptar. Calc sumará las filas de subtotal y total general al intervalo de celdas.

Esquema de subtotales

Cuando utiliza la herramienta Subtotales, Calc inserta un esquema a la izquierda de la columna de números de fila. Este esquema representa la estructura jerárquica de sus subtotales y puede utilizarse para ocultar o mostrar datos a varios niveles de la jerarquía, a través de los indicadores de columna numerados que se encuentran en la parte superior del esquema, o bien, mediante los indicadores de grupo, representados por los signos de suma (+) y de resta (−).

Esta funcionalidad resulta útil cuando se manejan cantidades grandes de subtotales, ya que le permite ocultar los detalles de bajo nivel y crear una síntesis general de sus datos.

Para desactivar los esquemas, accione Datos ▸ Grupo y esquema ▸ Quitar esquema. Para restaurarlos, vaya a Datos ▸ Grupo y esquema ▸ Esquema automático.
