List Style

Here you can create a List Style. The List Styles are organised in the Styles window.

To access this command...

Choose View - Styles () - open context menu Modify/New (for List Styles).

When a List Style is created, a name is assigned to the style. The list style can be applied to paragraphs or assigned to a paragraph style in the Apply List Style section of the Outline & List tab.

Ordered lists and unordered lists created in the Bullets and Numbering dialogue box or with the Toggle Ordered List and Toggle Unordered List icons of the Formatting bar use direct formatting. They are not list styles.

Organiser

Ordered

Apply

Applies modifications on all tabs without closing dialogue box. Cannot be reverted with Reset.

OK

Saves all changes and closes dialogue box.

Cancel

Closes dialogue box and discards changes on all tabs. If Apply was used, then changes after the last use of Apply are discarded.
