Text

Bold

Makes the selected text bold. If the cursor is in a word, the entire word is made bold. If the selection or word is already bold, the formatting is removed.

Italic

Makes the selected text italic. If the cursor is in a word, the entire word is made italic. If the selection or word is already italic, the formatting is removed.

If the cursor is not inside a word, and no text is selected, then the font style is applied to the text that you type.

Single Underline

Underlines the selected text with a single line.

Double Underline

Underlines the selected text with two lines.

Strikethrough

Draws a line through the selected text, or if the cursor is in a word, the entire word.

Overline

Overlines or removes overlining from the selected text.

Superscript

Reduces the font size of the selected text and raises the text above the baseline.

Subscript

Reduces the font size of the selected text and lowers the text below the baseline.

Shadows

Adds a shadow to the selected text, or if the cursor is in a word, to the entire word.

Outline Font

Displays the outline of the selected characters. This effect does not work with every font.

UPPER-CASE

Changes the selected lower-case characters to upper-case characters.

lower-case

Changes the selected upper-case characters to lower-case characters.

Cycle Case

Cycles the case of the selected characters between Title Case, Sentence case, UPPER-CASE and lower-case.

Sentence Case

Changes the first letter of the selected characters to an upper-case character.

Capitalise Every Word

Changes the first character of each selected word to an upper-case character.

tOGGLE cASE

Toggles case of all selected characters.
