Specifies the properties of 3-D object(s) in the current document or converts a 2-D object to 3-D.

Geometry

Adjusts the shape of the selected 3-D object. You can only modify the shape of a -3D object that was created by converting a 2-D object. To convert a 2-D object to 3-D, select the object, right-click, and then choose Convert - To 3-D, or Convert - To 3-D Rotation Object.

Sets the shading and shadow options for the selected 3-D object.

Define the light source for the selected 3-D object.

Textures

Sets the properties of the surface texture for the selected 3-D object. This feature is only available after you apply a surface texture to the selected object. To quickly apply a surface texture, open the Gallery, hold down Shift+, and then drag an image onto the selected 3-D object.

Preview Field

Displays a preview of the current selection.

Convert to 3-D

Use this icon to convert a selected 2-D object to a 3-D object. You can also select several 2-D objects and convert them to one single 3-D object. To convert a group of 2-D objects to 3-D, you must first ungroup the selected objects.
