Named Ranges and Expressions

Allows you to name the different sections of your spreadsheet document. By naming the different sections, you can easily navigate through the spreadsheet documents and find specific information.

To access this command...

From the menu bar:

Choose Insert - Named Range or Expression.

Choose Sheet - Named Range or Expression


Define Names

Opens a dialogue box where you can specify a name for a selected area or a name for a formula expression.

Manage Names

Opens a dialog where you can manage names in the spreadsheet.

Insert Name

Inserts a defined named cell range at the current cursor's position with the Paste Names dialog.

Create Names

Allows you to automatically name multiple cell ranges.

Define Label Range

Opens a dialogue box in which you can define a label range.
