DROP

Drops a specified number of contiguous rows or columns from the start or end of an array.

Enter the formula as an array formula. Hint: enter formula using keys Ctrl + Shift + Enter.

Sintaxi

DROP(Array; Rows [; Columns])

Array: the array or range from which to drop rows or columns.

Rows: the number of rows to drop. A negative value drops from the end of the array.

Columns: (optional) the number of columns to drop. A negative value drops from the end of the array.

Any of the optional arguments can be omitted. An optional argument requires all preceding separators to be present.

Exemples

Considereu la matriu A1:E3 més avall:

	A	B	C	D	E
1	AAA	BBB	CCC	DDD	EEE
2	FFF			III	JJJ
3	KKK	LLL	MMM	NNN	OOO

The formula {=DROP(A1:E3;1;3)} returns the array below dropping first 1 row and first 3 columns.

III	JJJ
NNN	OOO

The formula {=DROP(A1:E3;-1;-3)} drops the last row and the last 3 columns.

AAA	BBB
FFF
