Counts the words and characters, with or without spaces, in the current selection and in the whole document. The count is kept up to date as you type or change the selection.

Com fa el recompte de paraules el LibreOffice?
En general, es considera qualsevol cadena de caràcters entre dos espais com una paraula. Els guions, les tabulacions, els salts de línia i els salts de paràgraf també són límits de paraula.
Les paraules amb barres o amb guionets sempre visibles, com ara «pit-roig», «pèl-blanc» o «importació/exportació», compten cadascuna com una sola paraula.
Les paraules poden ser una combinació de lletres, nombres i caràcters especials. Per tant, el text següent compta com quatre paraules: abc123 1,23 "$" http://www.exemple.com.
To add a custom character to be considered as the word limit, choose LibreOffice - PreferencesTools - Options - LibreOffice Writer - General and add the character into the Additional separators field.
