Nombre: el nombre que s'ha de convertir en xifres romanes.

Mode: optional value ranging between 0 to 4 that indicates the degree of simplification to be used in the conversion. The higher the value, the greater is the simplification of the Roman number.

=ROMA(999) retorna «CMXCIX» (utilitza el mode de simplificació equivalent a zero, el mode per defecte).

=ROMA(999;0) retorna «CMXCIX».

=ROMA(999;1) retorna «LMVLIV».

=ROMA(999;2) retorna «XMIX».

=ROMA(999;3) retorna «VMIV».

=ROMA(999;4) retorna «IM».
