Applying Automatic Formatting to a Selected Cell Range

You can use the AutoFormat feature to quickly apply a format to a sheet or a selected cell range.

To Apply an AutoFormat to a Sheet or Selected Cell Range

  1. Select the cells, including the column and row headers, that you want to format.

  2. Choose Format - AutoFormat Styles.

  3. Select which properties to include in an AutoFormat.

  4. แƒ“แƒแƒแƒฌแƒ™แƒแƒžแƒฃแƒœแƒ”แƒ— แƒ“แƒแƒ›แƒแƒขแƒ”แƒ‘แƒแƒ–แƒ”.

    The format is applied to the selected range of cells.

If you do not see any change in color of the cell contents, choose View - Value Highlighting.


To Define an AutoFormat for Spreadsheets or Ranges

You can define a new AutoFormat that is available to all spreadsheets and ranges.

  1. Format a sheet or range.

  2. Choose Edit - Select All or select the formatted range.

  3. Choose Format - AutoFormat Styles.

  4. แƒ“แƒแƒแƒฌแƒ™แƒแƒžแƒฃแƒœแƒ”แƒ— แƒ“แƒแƒ›แƒแƒขแƒ”แƒ‘แƒแƒ–แƒ”.

  5. In the Name box of the Add AutoFormat dialog, enter a name for the format.

  6. แƒ“แƒแƒแƒฌแƒ™แƒแƒžแƒฃแƒœแƒ”แƒ— แƒ“แƒแƒ›แƒแƒขแƒ”แƒ‘แƒแƒ–แƒ”.
