Instrucción Option Compatible

Option Compatible turns on the VBA-compatible Basic compiler mode at the module level.

Esta instrucción debe añadirse antes del código del programa ejecutable en un módulo.

The function CompatibilityMode() controls runtime mode and affects all code executed after setting or resetting the mode.

Esta opción puede afectar o ser de ayuda en las siguientes situaciones:

Allow special characters as identifiers. all characters that are defined as letter in the Latin-1 (ISO 8859-1) character set, are accepted as part of identifiers.
Create VBA constants including non-printable characters.
Permitir el uso de las palabras clave Private/Public en procedimientos.
Hacer obligatorias las instrucciones Set para objetos.
Definir valores predeterminados para parámetros opcionales en procedimientos.
Utilizar argumentos nominados cuando existan múltiples parámetros opcionales.
