Protecció del contingut al LibreOffice Writer
A continuació es presenten les diverses maneres de protegir el contingut al LibreOffice Writer per tal que no es puga modificar o suprimir.
Protecció de seccions al LibreOffice Writer
Podeu protegir contra canvis qualsevol secció d'un document de text del LibreOffice Writer, i amb una contrasenya opcional.
Activació de la protecció
La informació que s'ha de protegir ha de col·locar-se en una secció. Per a crear o seleccionar una secció:

Si la secció no existeix: seleccioneu el text, llavors trieu el menú .

Si la secció ja existeix: trieu el menú i seleccioneu la secció en la llista Secció o feu clic amb el botó dret sobre la secció al Navegador i trieu .
Per a activar la protecció

Si voleu protegir els continguts sense la contrasenya, trieu la casella Protegeix sota Protecció d'escriptura.

If you want the protection with a password, choose Protect and With password check boxes and click on the Password… button. Enter and confirm a password of at least five characters.
Modificació de la protecció
trieu el menú i seleccioneu la secció en la llista Secció o feu clic amb el botó dret sobre la secció al Navegador i trieu .

If the protection does not have a password and you would like to use one, choose the With password checkbox, click the Password button, and enter and confirm a password of at least five characters.

If the protection has a password and you want to clear it, uncheck the With password box under Write protection and enter the correct password.

If the section is protected with a password and you want to change it, click on the Password button in the Edit Sections window and enter the correct password twice.
Desactivació de la protecció

Protecció de cel·les en una taula del LibreOffice Writer
You can protect the contents of individual cells of tables or whole table in LibreOffice Writer from changes.
Activació de la protecció

For one or several cells, place the cursor in a cell or select needed several cells. Choose the in menu bar.

For whole table, select the table, and choose the in menu bar.
Desactivació de la protecció

Place the cursor in the cell or in the selected cells and choose the in menu bar.

For whole table, right-click on the table in the Navigator, and choose Table - Unprotect in the context menu or select the whole table and choose in menu bar.
Protecció de contingut de les taules de contingut i índexs
Tables of contents and indexes created in LibreOffice Writer, are automatically protected against accidental changes.

Right-click in the index or table of contents. Choose in the context menu. Choose Protected against manual changes on the Type tab.

Right-click on the index or table of contents in the Navigator and choose Index - Read-only item.
Desactivació de la protecció

Right-click in the index or table of contents. Choose in the context menu. Uncheck Protected against manual changes on the Type tab.

Right-click in the index or table of contents in the Navigator and uncheck Index - Read-only.
Protection of the whole LibreOffice Writer document from changes.
You can protect the contents of LibreOffice Writer document from changes, with one of the following file formats: .doc, .docx, .odt, .ott.
To enable the protection of the whole document, go to LibreOffice - PreferencesTools - Options - LibreOffice Writer - Compatibility and choose Protect form. To disable protection, uncheck it.
