Inserting, Editing, and Linking Text Frames

A text frame is a container for text and graphics that you can place anywhere on a page. You can also use a frame to apply a column layout to text.

உரைச் சட்டகத்தைத் நுழைப்பதற்காக

1. சட்டகத்தினுள் நீங்கள் நுழைக்கவிருக்கும் உரையைத் தேர்க.

2. நுழை - சட்டகம் ஐத் தேர்ந்தெடுக, சரியைச் சொடுக்குக.

உரைச் சட்டகத்தைத் தொகுப்பதற்காக

• உரைச் சட்டகத்தின் உள்ளடக்கங்களைத் தொகுப்பதற்காக, சட்டகத்தில் சொடுக்குவதோடு, நீங்கள் விரும்பும் மாற்றங்களைச் செய்க.

• To edit a frame, select the frame, right-click, and then choose a formatting option. You can also right-click the selected frame, and choose Frame.

• உரைச் சட்டகத்தை அளவுமாற்றுவதற்கு, சட்டகத்தின் விளிம்பைச் சொடுக்குவதோடு, சட்டகத்தின் விளிம்புகளில் ஒன்றையோ மூலைகளில் ஒன்றையோ இழு. நீங்கள் இழுக்கும்ப்போது சட்டகத்தின் விகிதத்தைத் தக்க வைக்க சிப்டைக் கீழ் வைத்திரு.

Any Writer text frame can be set to a mode which allows viewing the text on screen, but hides the text from printing.

1. உரைச் சட்டகத்தைத் தேர்க (நீங்கள் எட்டுக் கைப்பிடிகளைப் பார்க்கவும்).

2. Choose Format - Frame and Object - Properties - Options.

3. In the Properties area, unmark the Print check box and click OK.

உரைச் சட்டங்களைஇணைப்பதற்கு

You can link Writer text frames so that their contents automatically flow from one frame to another.

1. Click the edge of a frame that you want to link. Selection handles appear on the edges of the frame.

2. On the Frame Bar, click the Link Frames icon .

3. Click the frame that you want to link to.

You can only link frames if:

• The target frame is empty.

• The target frame is not linked to another frame.

• The source and the target frames are in the same section. For example, you cannot link a header frame to a footer frame.

• The source frame does not have a next link.

• The target or the source frame are not contained in each other.

When you select a linked frame, a line is displayed that connects the linked frames.
