Use this dialog to create general settings for working with LibreOffice. The information covers topics such as user data, saving, printing, paths to important files and directories, and color defaults. These settings are saved automatically.

User Data
Use this tab page to enter or edit user data. Some of the data may have already been entered by the user when installing LibreOffice.
General
Specifies the general settings for LibreOffice.
Memory
Defines the settings for the graphics cache and the number of steps you can undo.
View
Specifies view options.
Print Options
Specifies the print setting options.
Paths
This section contains the default paths to important folders in LibreOffice. These paths can be edited by the user.
Colors
Allows you to select a color from a color table, edit an existing color, or define new colors.
Fonts
Substitutes a font with a font of your choice. The substitution replaces a font only when it is displayed on screen, or on screen and when printing. The replacement does not change the font settings that are saved in the document.
Security
Defines the security options for saving documents, for web connections, and for opening documents that contain macros.
Appearance
Sets the colors for the LibreOffice user interface. You can save the current settings as color scheme and load them later.
Accessibility
Sets options that make LibreOffice programs more accessible for users with reduced sight, limited dexterity or other disabilities.
Java
Specifies the support options for Java applications in LibreOffice, including which Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to use.
Back
Resets modified values back to the LibreOffice default values.
